David Goldberg

Board Chairman

David Goldberg is Chairman of Pacific Edison. In this role, he works with the management team to help shape and hone the company's overall strategic direction. David also plays a major role in facilitating the company's fundraising efforts and outreach to the owners and operators of large portfolios of entertainment venues with whom he has developed strong relationships during his long tenure in the live entertainment industry.

David is currently President and CEO at Youbet.com, America's #1 horse racing and online wagering site, and a diversified provider of technology and pari-mutuel horse racing content for consumers through Internet and telephone platforms . In this role, David oversees all company operations, including technology, customer service and content partnerships, as well as leading the strategic planning effort in driving new growth initiatives. Prior to joining Youbet.com, David most recently served as Executive Vice President at Ticketmaster, the world's leading ticketing company. During his tenure with Ticketmaster, David oversaw multiple, global areas of the company, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Development, Sales and Marketing, and most recently Ticketmaster's Music Services business where he developed strategic programs and alliances with Ticketmaster clients and prominent music industry organizations.

David previously served as Marketing Director for Ticketmaster's Midwest region in the early 1990's and then rejoined the company in 2003 after serving as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Sportvision, the nation's premier interactive sports technology and marketing firm. He was also a Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Tunes.com, and before that he served as a Talent Buyer and Vice President of Business Development at JAM Productions, one of the nation's largest presenters of live entertainment.

David Goldberg earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago. He serves on the Executive Committee for Music and Entertainment Industry chapter for the City of Hope.

Hisao Kushi

Board Director

Hisao Kushi is a Board Director at Pacific Edison. In this role, he works with the executive team and Board of Directors on setting corporate operational policies and overall strategy.  Hisao also provides the company with guidance on regulatory matters.

Hisao Kushi has spent 10 years in senior management within IAC/InterActiveCorp and its predecessor Ticketmaster Online-Citysearch, Inc.  Hisao is currently General Counsel and VP of Business Affairs for IAC's first incubated start-ups, Gifts.com and Pronto.com, as well Evite.com and IAC Advertising. 

Prior to overseeing legal affairs for Gifts.com, Pronto, Evite, and IAC Advertising, Hisao spent over 2 years as General Counsel at Citysearch, where he oversaw all legal strategy and, as a member of the executive team, assisted in overall corporate and operational strategy and management for both businesses.  Prior to Citysearch, Hisao was Assistant General Counsel for Ticketmaster with overall legal responsibility for one of five ticketing regions in the United States, and general legal support for Match.com, Citysearch and Evite.

Prior to Ticketmaster, Hisao served as in-house legal counsel at Universal Studios and as a litigation attorney in Boston.  Hisao earned a J.D. from Boston College School of Law and a B.A. from University of Massachusetts.
